So when I said I wanted power metal, I meant that I want crushing, classic heavy metal about swords and monsters, not overproduced, whiny Evanescence clones. Noble Beast is decent, though, as is Wuthering Heights. Giving Sabaton a spin now, but I have already seen them live and liked it. Thanks for the help! Thanks for the Sabaton feedback friends  My husband has been out of town for the past week, so I spent a lot of time exploring new power metal bands that looked interesting. I stumbled across Cain's Offering, which has Sonata Arctica's former guitarist, and it is amazing! I don't think there is a single bad song on the Stormcrow album.
