The correct silver border answer is obviously that it's power and toughness is a mystery. It deals base damage of (P)? and has toughness of (T)? It deals ? amounts of base damage if its controller hasn't used the ability. This is always a base of at least 1 since the only options are 1 or 3. If a creature takes (P)? damage and 1 damage would destroy it, it is destroyed since (P)? can't be less than 1 without other effects. Similarly, it has (T)? as its toughness and doesn't die to combat damage unless the damage exceeds the total possibilities assuming the controller used the ability to give it the higher toughness total (meaning without external enhancement it always dies to 4 damage).
