Post-apoc baking is extremely good :3:

I'd assumed last week that their potatoes were some kind of reconstituted potato food product. I guess they were actually the result of a thousand years of selective breeding for easy-packing rectangle potatoes.

They aren't stopping with the allusions to Yuu eating Chi and it's extremely worrying lol

Watch as the manga ends with Yuu committing cannibalism as her smile slowly fades away, fully comprehends how alone she is in the world.

The robot and the aquarium are soon iirc. I don't remember much of what happens beyond that since I don't think it got scanalated

Huh, I thought you weren't allowed to show underage drinking in anime. I know Hidamari Sketch didn't. Then again we don't really know how old Chito and Yuuri are, do we? I wonder if even they know.

I suspect the legal loophole is that we don't technically know what was in those bottles.

That segment was not in the translated manga, so that's neat. I wonder if it'll be in a future volume or just an anime story

I have a twitter friend saying they read it in the manga, so presumably the former.

Yeah, the tankobons have extra chapters in them that the scanlations don't (the house one and Moonlight so far), and some little things like between-chapter panels.

Volume 3 of the translated manga was released a few weeks ago and featured the drunk blobs.

I'm not a good person

I was terrified that they were going to drunkenly dance right off that ledge, and/or die of hypothermia.

Also, there was yet another reference to cannibalism.

I worry about how this adventure will end for our stretchy heroes.

I mean, there's no possible way this show could get even more blob-

ok, NOW we've possibly reached maximum blob.

It's probably really sweet to a person who consumes nothing but potato-based rations for years.

The beer is probably hundreds of years old. Who knows what the age did to it's flavour profile.

29 years old, actually. The label said 3201 IIRC.

Assuming the camera's date is accurate.

That's...kind of interesting, actually. Wonder what the world looked like just 29 years ago if there were still working breweries. Or A working brewery, anyway.

Yeah, 29 year old beer is really intriguing actually.

I was also kind of shocked by the dead trees. Weren't there supposed to not be any other living things? The only other plant we've seen, dead or alive, was that hydroponic factory potato.

there was a fish at some point, it must've been alive recently because otherwise it would've been rotting

Well yeah, but the fish has been kinda the central mystery for a while and it's been pointed out how inexplicable it was. The trees just appeared in the background.
