He's a good guy, he'll do fine wherever he goes, but barring extraordinary circumstances he definitely has a ceiling. Sumlin had one really awesome year with arguably the best OC in the sport, a loaded offensive line that he inherited, and a once in a generation QB that he also inherited. Otherwise he was at like 7-8 wins every year which is fine but doesn’t seem like something that should instantly make a top candidate for like every opening.
