TWP seems like the most disciplined and dangerous of all of these groups. Dangerous at least in the sense that tangling with them at a protest carries more risks than others -- a lot more. But the reason they have that reputation is the same reason a lot of the 4chan kiddies won't join up with them.

The thing is, he looks like a goober and that matters a lot to this audience, who are horribly vain and shallow. The #1 complaint I read about them from the far-right is that Heimbach is too fat. I don't think it's that clear cut - clearly, some have radicalized even further, yet maybe others will feel that they're in too deep, and quietly slink away. But what's the split? You can't rightly say you're sure, and I don't think anyone else can. BUT I do feel that outright nazism has been normalized to a degree it wasn't just 2 years ago, and that's a massive sea change.
