Yet where is that woman now? Tell me, in what heave does she reside? None of them. Because no God bothered to listen or care. If that is what you think it means to be a God, then you and all your teachings are welcome to do as that poor women did. And vanish from these realms forever.

Speaking of metaphors for capitalism, there's this one dragon in D&D that is so obsessed with immortality that it parked itself in the metaphysical river where souls are formed of pure life energy and drinks it all day. One of the plot hooks for players is "children being born without souls". Also, he has a Balor instead of a heart.

That was Ashardalon. He was a big jerk.

(I had bad experiences with that adventure.)

That was a cool twist on the philactery. I played a campaign once where the rear end in a top hat Dragon had the draconomicon class of ashardalon fanboys that have their own demon hearts and the party was outclassed so we had to do an assassination mission on the demon that was the heart in an infernal plane

That's for tabletop RPGs though, right? I'm looking for card/board game recommendations.

Man, I really value what the rise of electronic gamebooks has given us, even with all the dreck. I just wish there were some universally recognized and comprehensible naming scheme for files and that developers could all magically be compelled to adhere to it. Like, I do not get people who just name their professionally uploaded file as one word of its title. Even an acronym is bad since it makes it hard to search but I at least understand what it is.

eta: also please do not call your errata file just 'errata', or worse, something completely unrelated to your game or what the file is.

Yes obviously. I just feel it's a weird oversight, after everything else that had to go into making that book.
