It's good to have a sense of scale.

This episode really felt like a return to form for me. I'm not entirely sure what it was - the flashbacks to the Zpocolypse going down, or maybe Citizen Z returning finally? The Canada episode was good (ok maybe I'm a bit biased) but this was hands-down my favorite ep of the season.

Citizen Z might just bring me back.

I feel the same, this has easily been the high point of this season.

I came here to say this same thing. I really liked this episode and it's so good to see Citizen Z again.

I liked the flashbacks but I felt like all the Citizen Z stuff was taking away from the more interesting main plot. Good episode though.

I expected her to be dead but was hoping she wouldn't be. The reveal was a bit anti climatic though.

I think I have the opposite opinion. The Citizen Z stuff felt like it had some small purpose and was going somewhere but the whole main plot just felt like another "Zombies in ______" thing which I think is kind of just worn out its fun. And "Zombies in a news studio" isn't exactly a compelling idea.

I think I might just be over the show. I'm mainly waiting to see if 10K finds his girlfriend. And make sure Doc keeps surviving, but he's going to outlive everyone.

Might mean something, might not ...

Red is not credited anymore this season which doesn't prove anything but for this show that information has been reliable in previous seasons.

Dr Sun has no more credits this season.

Addie has one more credited appearance this season.

Doc is credited for every episode this season except the last one, but I wouldn't take that to mean anything because those credits are incomplete. A character previously thought to be dead is also credited. Flashback? Surprise return?

But yeah, this is the weakest season so don't torture yourself watching something that doesn't make you happy.

Oh, I'm not in hate watching or torture territory or anything. I'm just at that point where I'm not actually sure I'm enjoying the show and if its worth an hour a week anymore. Sometimes you just lose interest. We'll see. I'll probably finish out the season. Its gotta be near through.

It was completely in between for me. More enjoyable than the last couple of episodes, but not much more than a way to kill 40 minutes while I was rearranging furniture.

About five minutes in the middle were fun. Overall it was the worst episode of the series. I doubt they even had a script. Must have slashed their budget to the bone to have characters walking around in foam as a plot. The suntan lady was funny but looked like she was wearing a painted pillowcase. The editing was very jumpy too. Not good.

It's definitely not unwatchable. I think my take is that the gimmicks and gags of the show have worn thin while the plot, character work, and story is a mess. Obviously the first part is purely a subjective matter, though. Everyones got a different point where a joke stops being funny.

Specifically I think these last few "fun" episodes have been really mailed in and uninspired. It seems like they've worked out some general episode gimmick and then just kind of winged the rest of the episode. And none of the gag gimmicks have done a lot for me (which again, is purely subjective).

Oh thank goodness, I was so worried.

What's troubling about episodes like the foam storm is they were clearly made on a shoestring budget: minimal set, high school quality costumes, minimal script that was probably ad-libbed. Combined with the overall decline in quality, disappearing cast, crappy season arc, and it suggests to me this season almost didn't happen. And that really upsets me considering this is still one of Syfy top shows.

I have never in my life seen in film, nor read or imagined, apocalypse survivors enduring a blinding radioactive foam storm spawned by extinction-level numbers of corpses offgassing along one of the great lakes. This poo poo could be filmed in someone's dad's basement and it would be worthy of respect for that at least.

Also, budget is still producing superior results compared to this season of TWD.

Yeah, the last few weeks including this one have had the official Twitter accounts for the show and stars post #RenewZNation during each episode, just like they did this time last year. As much as I love the show, they're probably going to need to plan an endgame next year if there is one more season

Maybe not a *good* episode, but I laughed a bunch and it was just ridiculous. LOL'd out loud at Skeezy's 'I say we let him go' during the vote, the chain puking was fantastic, all the standoffs including Skeezy taking the gun and pointing it at his own head, floppy titty suntan grandma, there was a lot going on for not a lot going on

Were the "other" two guys that came in a call back at all or just random characters? Seemed familiar but more like "Yeah this is something that could have happened before in-universe"

First or second season, Skeezy was impersonating Murphy and bit some hicks for money I think? It was the episode where they had a town powered by zombie-driven turbines. Anyway one of those guys was a guy that Skeezy had bitten, and the other may have been in it too.
