I still love to hear about the "What about the starving children" from people who don't really give a poo poo about starving children.

Hoboy you talked about how sad you are on your column or something but you won't do a drat thing but expect it to be the barrier to entry for having a minimum bar of "No pedophiles" in government.

Whenever people bring up starving children, I tell them I'm a foster dad, regularly volunteer at soup kitchens, and help when I can at the residence for foster children. Then I ask them what are they doing to help the starving children.

I usually get either:
A) No answer.
B) A deflection.

They don't actually give a gently caress about starving children, and when confronted by an agnostic socialist who actually acts more Christian than they do, they become very VERY uncomfortable.

Just imagine Boston's cost of living if the HQ2 comes here instead like Mayor Walsh wants it to :shepicide:

To be fair, it would be prohibitively expensive for a 1917 machine shop to switch out all of their tools.

Oh, that makes more sense. I was wondering why a cartoon from the 70's looked like it was drawn by Thomas Nast. Although somebody still using Roman numerals for dates in 1917 is probably the sort of person who would have been against the metric system in the 70's.

For someone with a pretty decent artistic style, she makes a lot of little continuity mistakes like that. Weird.

Also I think I like the old Zeldas better than the recent ones. There were more jokes and the art was more cartoony. Now the people are starting to have realistic proportions and getting more detail in the faces and it sometimes looks kind of grotesque.

Don't stop posting it, though.

Franken's statement of resignation specifically called out the irony of his being ousted for inappropriate sexual behavior while Commander Pussygrabber is in the Oval Office and the pedophile in Alabama has the full backing of his party.

Kind of a wussy move imo but still accurate.

People on the Internet get really mad when I say that Fahrenheit is unironically a better system for the primary temperature use-case in day-to-day life (describing how warm or cold it is outside)

What does the boiling point of water have to do with choosing which jacket I'm going to wear today?
