I like how in the first 10 seconds of the trailer you see the car obviously and conspicuously clip right through an obstacle.

This has been removed from Steam, by the by. Valve was quick on this one, at least. The developer has apparently been going on a tirade about it too, claiming it shouldn't have been removed because it's apparently a "satire" ABOUT pedophilia, not condoning it.

For a 2005, you seem oddly unacquainted with the content of this wonderful site There is a whole section off the front page devoted to anime reviews. For a quick peek into the depths (not even a particularly bad one) try this http://www.somethingawful.com/hentai-game-reviews/lets-meow-meow/ The summary had me in stitches - First and foremost, there was no rape. I enjoy that. Call me crazy, but I actually enjoy a game where I don't rape people. I also find the lack of underage sex fairly pleasurable. Then you realise just how depressing that statement is, WTF is wrong with you Japan? And why are all these "games" 800x600? Has the land of the rising sun gotten stuck in 1990?

I don't think a single human being was involved in the creation of this game.quote:Once upon a time there was a Ukrainian, went to work, drank gorilka, ate bacon, but once our hero touched it with a gorilka and turned into a ball! The Ukrainian did not lose his head and rolled around the city, but he came upon soldiers and they recruited him. Now his goal is to steal gas from the enemy forest.

There's sort of an explanation to that (maybe?) in one of the first ones: quote:I would just like to take a second to point something out to all of the people who incessantly e-mail me asking "where can I get this game?!" You are horrible human beings for wanting to play any of these games. I do these reviews as a public service to all of mankind so that no one has to experience the perversion or more importantly the tedium of one of these poo poo-fests. I find all of the games by searching on either KaZaA or Google, so you can do the same just as easily. Besides, when you e-mail me asking for it I immediately add your name to a list that I send to the FBI once a month. Presumably at some point he got sick of it and just started putting links in to stop the emails.

Ratzap posted:Has the land of the rising sun gotten stuck in 1990? Yeah, actually. Japan has only recently started to have any kind of major PC gaming culture (as a direct result of Steam), and until then Windows PCs were basically seen as a platform for either weird indie games (like Bunny Must Die or Touhou or La Mulana) or straight-up porn. You can imagine this didn't exactly push them to start buying high-end computers; the vast majority of Japanese games from before Steam will run on even the most potato-rear end computer you throw them at.
