I rode for several miles beside a guy on a Harley who had a little dog about that size literally standing on the tank. The dog was wearing Doggles and had a harness but I have no idea how it wasn't sliding all over the place.

There's a joke about Harleys not turning in there somewhere. E: it's cause they handle like dogs

goddamnedtwisto posted:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsX2rIZory0 Accurate to my ex250 experience: -It kept working, even after being submerged in a flood while I was at a goon meet. -Bought it for $2,500, totaled out for $2,500 I miss that little thing. It was so much fun to push as much as I could out of it. I don't think I'll every get to that point on my 600 because I don't ride track and the limit of a 600 on the road is 2spooky4me.

drat that’s exactly accurate, right down to me buying an EX250 that had been dropped on both sides for $800. It’s my fifth bike and it’s currently tied with my KLR for favorite bike.

That bike should be painted bright red. And with Radio Flyer on the tank, like a little kid's tricycle, with that tiny-rear end front wheel like a little bitch.

I did not know someone put hub center steering on a scooter. From the Dragster wiki page: quote:The forkless front suspension was criticised as leading to "non-harmonic and wobbly dynamics at lower speeds."

Jim Silly-Balls posted:Those Italjets were/could be insanely fast if memory serves. Well, the 250s were certainly quicker than most people were expecting a scooter to be in the days when >125cc scooters were an extreme rarity, and the 125s (or at least the F1-branded Formulas) were deliberately undergeared (not in the way that guy is), topping out at about 65, to give them a fair amount of poke off the line - which let's face it is a lot more useful for the vast majority of scooters.
