The image of little girls in politicartoons (almost always in the context of kiddy diddling) is always so ridiculously outdated. It would have looked outdated in the 60s.

Pretty sure the thing about him living in Charlottesville is that it's home to UVA, and especially for a non-Richmond and non-DC burb part of the state is a pretty liberal university town.

Libertarianism is born from the concept of "I'm amazing, so the only reason I'm not successful is the government is keeping me down". Which easily morphs into "I'm amazing, so the only reason I'm not successful is that anyone who isn't just like me has a position where they can criticize me". Which is the modern republican party.

I say burn the entire loving holiday down. Capitalism can only growth. If can't growth, must liquidate.

Franken's Staff Thinks The #MeToo Movement Got The Wrong Guy quote:In interviews with eight former Franken staffers and top campaign aides — most of them women — all of them felt that it was unfair for Franken to become to poster boy for sexual misconduct in Congress and some felt that he shouldn’t have resigned at all. They also applauded his defiant speech on the Senate floor Thursday, for which Franken has been criticized for not directly apologizing to his accusers. Gosh darn it, some people like him.

Tinsley never did a cartoon on Ailes and O'Reilly, and has spent the last two weeks not-so-subtly hinting that we should believe Clinton's accusers but not Moore's.

Zelda reminds me of when the Penny Arcade guys became responsible adults. Things got all "you know when the teacher calls you to the Parent-teacher conference and you know you're in for a whacky time, oh boy" I'm obviously not responsible enough to get why the dad is going out after a night of wine and snacks and TV. It must be at least midnight at this point. Is he going to work?
