I got this one because it's whimsical as gently caress, and also because I enjoy when the product listing calls me lazy. Good strong clip, easy attaches my phone to my desk, bed, or chair. The plastic doesn't look super reliable, but it hasn't broken yet.

I had a few of my orders arrive.

1 was a lego figure order.

I order 3 different items, but 2 of one.
So when it came the oder for 4 items only had 3. I left a message with the shop saying you missed one.
they messaged me back

hello
sorry that
i send one piece in your next order.
ok?

So they want me to order more in order for them to fix up my order....

Think i may just message back saying to send it. Though, there are a few others i might want to get :/

idea: instead of slingshotting meat to the dog, break into the yard and slingshot the dog back into your yard

Anyone order "origami paper 100pcs double-sided colors" type stuff from Aliexpress? I'm having real trouble finding 10x10cm non-stick note paper but there are a lot of "origami paper" lots in that size. I have no idea what that is like though so if anyone can advise thank you in advance.

e: It's just for jotting down quick notes at my desk with a pencil. My note paper holder is 10x10cm and I refuse to throw it away.

You can actually buy vegan cat/dog food - it's laced with chemicals to get all the nutrients that they need so it's not actually evil just loving idiotic.

My entire neighborhood is a poo poo show of uppity, milquetoast middle class poo poo heads(probably me included, but I hate myself enough to have some introspection)

1. on one side, I have vegan poo poo heads and their poor doggo. They're also ~horse people~, so they keep a couple of stable-rot horses at the front of their property and almost never ride them. It's more of a "look at use with our horses". In spite of them being vegan, the hubbs drives a lifted F-350 that needs it's own zip code to park anywhere. I've never seen the guy haul anything with it. Ever.

2. The guy behind me is a ~bike commuter~. If you live in a metro area or nearby suburb, biking is a great way to stay in shape, help the planet and save money. If you live ten miles outside of town in some quasi-agricultural grouping of houses, you're just in the way. He rides right down the center of the dirt roads, and the one time I passed him he honked some kind of gay little bike air horn at me. I'm not a violent person, but he almost got the GTA treatment for that one.
3. My neighbor on the other side is a sheriff's deputy. He was cool until last year, when he decided to mount his TV on his back patio and attach a giant surround sound system to it. I'd be okay with him watching the game at a higher volume during the day, but he blares the thing non stop regardless of what he's watching. A couple of months ago, I had to tell him to turn his TV down, because it was 10:30 at night and he was watching "Diners, Drive-in and Dives" at full volume and enhanced bass. I've already decided that I'm gonna buy some large subwoofers and create a sound weapon. I'll just bombard his house with infra sound until he snaps and shoots his hag of a wife.

95% of the time the origami paper is just generic, cut down paper. It'll be fine. Just don't go for the shiny expensive looking stuff.

Those sorts are just paper, nothing special about it. Good for practicing origami but tears pretty easily. Fine for making notes on.

A while back a goon recommended these fleece hoods. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mul...2311.0.0.sSIuNF Can confirm that they are soft and warm and reasonable quality for the price.

Looking back at the listing this jumped out at me though. It isn't enough that it is soft and warm, it has to be versatile.

Strictly speaking, dogs aren't obligate carnivores anyway. Any time someone isn't feeding their dog a decent dog food, I immediately doubt they're balancing nutrients properly, but a vegan dog could very well be a happy, healthy animal.

Yeah it's a fun difference between dogs and cats. Dogs are much more omnivorous than people think, but cats really are a type of animal that almost strictly only eats other animals. Bears are almost mostly omnivorous, except for polar bears who are obligate carnivores.

These are meant to be worn at raves so you can watch laser light shows and they look all crazy. There's similar ones called 'fireworks glasses' which are meant for watching fireworks and make everything fractal and awesome.

I bought these sunglasses off AliExpress recently:

I love them but I'm worried they're not really UV protective and will make my retinas melt if I wear them outside :ohdear:

It’s cheaper to make only sunglasses for export out of polycarbonate (which is inherently UV protective) than making two different lines of sunglasses lenses with a tiny difference in price out of a cheaper material.

I occasionally watch a program called Fake Britain that shows you what garbage is stopped at the border by UK trading standards and it showed me there is apparently plenty of margin in making sunglasses that don't protect your eyes against the right range of frequencies of uv.
