No idea. But the DeLorean has been seen in the trailers. All sorts of stuff has been, including stuff that wasn't mentioned in the book (for example: Tracer).

I can only assume they have to play something to the various IP holders, but I can also readily assume that people were willing to do it for free or next to nothing.

There was a GBS thread that was just people posting excerpt after excerpt. That is an actual part of the book, by the way. That's all the book is. Reference after reference after reference. It's just a really bad book.

As the whole scheme seems to be winding down (or is the lawsuit the start of a new chapter?) I’ve been thinking a lot about endings. Because if there is going to be a ending to this thing, there are going to be a lot of lasts.
