Its almost to a Forrest Gump level of "You young people need to sit down and do as you're told and let the older people who know better handle things" Everything that Finn, Poe and Rey do in this movie only serves to make things worse, with the sole exception of Rey lifting the rocks. What are these failures of the older generation? I can't think of one thing anyone over 50 did in that movie that wasn't the perfect thing to do and anyone who questioned it was proven to be the worst. Finn didn't do poo poo and it's obvious they had no idea what to do with him. His entire side quest could have been cut out of the movie. The main reason it was there was to show that people profit off of war. His win against Phantasma isn't even as fulfilling as it should have been because he spent most of the fight getting his rear end kicked. A big star wars might find the deconstruction of the series that the film does interesting, but to someone like me who isn't obsessed with it, it was too long and poorly structured. Donald Trump is dumb and a bad president.

It got so bad that the city of Anchorage had to pass it's own law making it a crime to be riding in a stolen car, since actually STEALING the car basically got you a ticket.
