I loved the Morning Roast and am happy it's coming back, but I think it'd be a shame not to have Clinton help stir things up. I like Domonique and Mina on their part of the Nickle Package, but they don't wind up having the same kind of fun on air as they did with Clinton around.

no. it's just the commish huffing and puffing saying he owns a house in south FL so he know the plight of the south fl sports fan and also that the Florida market doesn't make a lot of money through sports with the show ending with Dan telling them the previous owner made over a billion dollars selling it.

golic and wingo is really bad. it's painfully obvious that greenberg was the creative driving force behind mike and mike. i know mike and mike was not particularly well-received around these parts, but i enjoyed it for what it was, a vanilla sports show targeted to people driving to work every morning. this new show is just awful

The original plan was: 6-10: Golic and Wingo 10-1: LeBatard 1-3: Stephen A. Smith 3-6: Russillo and Cain 6-10 feels like a flop so far but I'm assuming people are fine with the new vanilla sports radio, I guess they'll stick with Stephen A. Smith in the 1-3 slot and maybe get a new co-host to do a show with Will Cain from 3-6?

I watched the short clip where he said he was going to be working 10 hour days at the ESPN facility with the new schedule. That doesn't count all the other show prep you have to do after hours, appearances on other shows, etc. Sounds miserable.

Dan does talk about how everyone is replacable and no one follows the personalities to Fox, but if Dan went to some other network I would still tune in.

I would imagine that, if he were to keep working outside of ESPN, that he'd go to a platform where he could charge for access. He's talked in the past about Stern as an ideal model, and that offering content for free has eroded journalism and will eventually erode sports media. I'm wondering if them popping up on Spotify is a test run.

Then Stugotz got a picture of Dan and Papi and started to eat it. The chewed up spit soaked paper was gross and Dom and Stu were playing it, grossing Dan out completely.
