Like obviously he goes for the mainstream and gets a big touch on them even if he doesn't all the way know it. I've actually thought this about Joe for a long time. The way he presents himself, his persona/image, those he puts on camera with him and how he interacts with them, the presentation of his show, the way he's developed and branded his fan community, the way he balances the "fan outrage," with pretty milquetoast review scores, the specific content he covers, its always seemed really calculated to me. Not that his reactions and opinions are inauthentic, but that he is playing them up in a larger-than-life way while also integrating them with an overall delivery that is mainstream friendly and won't alienate people even if he takes a controversial stance like "Man of Steel was a great movie," or "Total War Rome was a mess that spits on the franchise (but still gets 6/10)." It's quite brilliant if its even half-intentional, and considering it's gotten him to the point a Battlefront 2 Dev considers it a forum worth going on to try and spin their narrative, it's working better than a lot of his peers in the VideoGame Punditry ratrace.

Finding out Jontron was a Neonazi was a pretty painful experience for me and I have been both unwilling and unable to watch any of his material since. On the other hand I was able to come to peace with the shittiness and still watch the work of quite a few of my favorite pro-wrestlers, such as wife beater Randy Savage, family murderer Chris Benoit, and xeno/homophobic libertarian dickhead AJ Styles. On the third hand, I haven't watched a new Mel Gibson product since his anti-Semitic rant, but do occasionally go back a watch his old films that I already own. I'm not sure I have a point here, other than every time I find a person to be a lovely person I have to deal with it case by case, and I think most people are like that. I'm just glad I've never fallen into the denial trap. You're right that too many people allow themselves to do that.

I started One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 a week or so ago, but I only played it for an hour and haven't played it since. Orochi 3 I thought was interesting because it added in characters from Bladestorm and Legends of Troy, along with characters from Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive (I know All-Stars does that too, but I heard it wasn't that good.) While I don't know how it's executed, it sounded like you could team up Zhuge Liang with Joan of Arc and basically make a Musou version of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

I’m a fan of these kinds of games and Orochi 3 has to be one of the best. It was already good, but then they released the Ultimate version with an entire expansion pack’s worth of extra content. You should definitely pick it up.
