I think Forbes had to admit that they ranked Trump on the Billionaire list based on estimates that were way overstated. Like, they estimated the worth of the buildings he owns and factor that in, as well as asking trump what his net worth is. Like just calling him up and asking, and publishing whatever he says. While it's well known that trump grossly exaggerates his net worth. For example, if a $5 million dollar company pays him $100k to use his name on their lovely water bottles, or mail-order steaks, or whatever, Trump adds $5 million to the running tally in his mind. And most of the buildings he 'owns' were purchased with loans from Russian oligarchs because American banks won't loan him a dime after going bankrupt like 5 times in the 90s. Fun fact: Trump owns the only hotel in Las Vegas without a casino or gaming of any kind in it, because the law in LV is that you can't open a casino if you've ever declared bankruptcy.
