Flikken posted:MML Yeah. Most ships have a satellite feed for TV that's fully legal with sports included that actually covers all deployed military. Because of that the games that get broadcast focus on large market/popular teams so I rarely get to see the Jags at sea unless they're playing a team like the Steelers, Patriots, or Cowboys. Some ships actually pool sailors' money and get a DirectTV set up with Sunday Ticket, but that's not super common.

Part of me wants Blake Bortles to resign with the team to watch the freak outs of other teams when they lose to him, also having him as a QB is like playing Russian roulette and has been some of the most exciting/entertaining football I have watched in years

Crosspost from the Aftermath thread: I need to reiterate my point from that other thread: winning seems to be *really* risky in the AFC South. The Titans just barely escaped Mularkey because of a single playoff game. I'm praying for you, Jags* *more "sending good thoughts about you into the empty ether," since god is either dead or imaginary, as proven by Tom Brady's existence.

I really hope that the Jaguars feed off of the fact that everyone in the media is referring the to Jaguar's win over the Steeler's as "surprising". I think the final score was surprising but we clowned on them once this year, what is so surprising about beating them again, even if it was closer this time?

Big Ben had more momentum this time, He didn't throw 5 interceptions, and they went Bell and Brown heavy on the offense. I don't really get it either, but this game showed a few pain points we didn't encounter the first time.

Randaconda posted:Jags have a winning record against the Steelers, surprisingly, 14-11. Can we just replace the Browns in the AFCN? I miss playing these fuckers twice a year. There's no rule that says when you beat an entire division in a season you CAN'T replace one of them. PROS: Face our real rivals, the Steelers twice a year again. Guaranteed two cat battle games. Stop the Ravens from pecking out the Brown's eyes every year. Nostalgia gently caress the Titans. CONS: More cold weather games. Lose out on what could be a legendary rivalry between the Watson led Texans and Sacksonville. TSBX fucked around with this message at 01:32 on Jan 16, 2018 |
