Q Anon stuff is starting to leak into the far right media bubble - a lot of Jerome Corsi-level hucksters are starting to run articles relating to "the storm", and even if they aren't true believers, they are at least entertaining the idea. More and more freepers are going to get sucked into it before all is said and done.

At first I was surprised by how much traction this ridiculous bullshit is getting, but one of my friends explained it to me well - this whole thing is just what happens when you take "Trump is playing 5D chess" and stretch it to it's breaking point. These people voted Trump in because they wanted him to be this ultra-effective virtual tyrant, who would throw all the bad guys (i.e. Hillary) in jail, get the Mexican wall built within the year, bypass Congress whenever they tried to resist him, etc. What they GOT is a highly-ineffective, whiny twitter celebrity with only a handful of "accomplishments" under his belt.

But since these people have etched the idea of "god-emperor Trump" into their heads, they don't want to confront that reality. No, Trump is still doing all the good things and putting the bad guys in jail! He's just doing it... in secret, yeah! He'll let us know soon, just be patient and trust in Q!

And that's how a bunch of people are now convinced that both Bush Sr. And Bush Jr. are now in cells in Guantanamo Bay. I'll add my voice to the people asking for a Q Anon thread, this poo poo is fascinating and horrible in equal measure.

This time it was info on old army fire suppression systems, when the US army phased out halons and others for hydrofluorocarbon-based suppressants. Let's have a look at Freep, circa 2002:

The halons used for fire suppression where people are expected to be are fairly low toxicity, especially compared to earlier brominated compounds or carbon tet, and don't need to flood the area to the same degree as co2 or dry nitrogen to suppress a fire, because at flame temperatures they interrupt the radicals that propagate combustion at fairly low concentrations.
It's still recommended that you get the hell out as soon as a halon tank goes off though.

There are some good suppressants that do the same without wrecking the ozone layer now, but they're very expensive.

Shouldn't be a prop for the US military. It's not like we give them a 215 billion dollar budget to play with. Plus they're supposed to be entering the new M1A2 into service, so why not change the system now.

What is “Q”??? It makes no sense to me. Q is my Internet provider short for Quest. Someone makes something up and expects everyone to know what they are talking about.

No matter how many times a picture of Trump with some scumbag pops up they NEVER seem to grasp the concept that politicians, by definition, know and are seen with lots and lots of people so a picture of Hated Politician A next to ScumBag B will ALWAYS mean that HPA LOVES, agrees with, and is permanently attached at the hip to SBB and all of their friends relatives and anyone they've ever taken a picture with or been rumored to hang out with. Meanwhile their politicians are "just taking pictures with random people" no matter how long that "random person" has been staying in their guest house.
