Also I found an early helm of discord and holy poo poo did that thing carry some battles

Depending on the resource, it may give less money than the normal economic building, and that is not counting the movement bonus the normal economic building gives. TK resource buildings each give 10 of the resource, and many of the resources are only worth 10 gold, so the whole building is only worth 100 compared to the 150 from the regular econ building.

Chances are you're making most of the money from tariffs not the trade product itself. One trade building makes enough to sell to one trade partner.

Like I said, it would've been more interesting to have the crafting system use a particular number of goods produced, rather than just a building.

I feel like if they had garrison buildings folded into their main buildings, even at a lesser effect, they would be a lot better on the campaign, 6 low tier tomb king units ain't going to even be a speedbump to any random army looking to take your tier 3 city.

They just don't have the gold or building slots to get garrisons easily.

Admittedly the only non-character chariots I’ve used have been ithilmar, aka the best, but drat TK chariots are disappointing.

TK chariots are absolutely trash, but they're a tier 2 one turn recruit unit that costs nothing, so expecting miracles out of them is unreasonable. They do a fairly good job rolling donuts over infantry like skeletons and orcs, and if nothing else you can use them as a huge distraction against the enemy. Just don't bring them against dwarfs; the new dwarf mass buff means that you can put a TK chariot unit into a dwarf warrior unit and stop dead. :laffo:

Realm of Souls in general just feels terribly designed. Okay so I need to bring tons of poo poo chaff troops to die to trigger it. Okay, makes sense, TK line troops are expendable. It gives me a healing buff....that only applies to the poo poo chaff units that are dying en masse to trigger it, and doesn't actually heal any of my heavy hitters because all of them are constructs. Oooo...kay. But you get ONE whole Ushabti unit out of it!

That's why each rank should give you charges of it so you can save up the uses for when you really need it, and each legendary Lord should get an additional effect when activated that can be further upgraded at higher levels:

Settra:Bonus speed and charge bonus

Khatep: Bonus winds/reserves each charge.

Khalida: Enemy army gets a speed and armor debuff

Arkhan: Small damage over time to every enemy unit while active

Maybe also have a skill somewhere that lets you get additional charges or start with one charge from the get go.

Murderous Prowess is one of the reason Dark Elves are OP as poo poo. I'd prefer if it was removed from multi at least, or if it triggered on your own dudes death like Realm of Souls because goddamn did a swiss army faction not need another bullshit buff on top of all their top tier poo poo.

Maybe simple regeneration isn't the way to go. What if it just instantly restored your trash skeletons to full unit strength and leadership? That could be pretty interesting and help turn around some battles.

So like think about some army that is just all cheap free skeletons. As long as you keep them from being potentially wiped out, you effectively have 3x the forces available.

But you also have a normal economic building in every settlement, too. You only get one straight +Gold building and you should have plenty of space for all the army buildings you can afford, so there's not really a reason not to build literally every income-generating structure you can manage.

The only exception is ports since that like 2% bonus to trade income will probably take 100 turns to pay for itself.

Huh, wow I guess Games Workshop really did say gently caress it and pull the lever on licensing. Not a bad thing, just mostly shocked that this is set in the current time period of the setting rather than, well, during the Gothic War.

Edit: Also lol at the fact that they explicitly made the Necrons Tomb Kings in Space, while killing them off in Age of Sigmar.

One of my favorite things about Tretch is that his skull helm makes it really easy to stack enough warding and physical resist to be nearly immune to normal damage, but only if he is losing a fight.

Except that it is hard to lose a fight when you can't be killed.

Yes, it's definitely a thing. l'chaim. Chava. etc. There is a specific letter for that sound in hebrew, and I assume in arabic as well. Presumably GW preferred the kh spelling in latin characters because that makes it seem extra foreign, and because otherwise people would read it as ch as in cheese.

Yeah, I can see the complaint that she's got real minor-level resources starting out. But you're a human in a world full of AI so...

I think knocking out the Silver Host and taking their stuff as soon as you can recruit 2 units of Nehekhara Warriors (and your 4 archers+chaff) is key though. Certainly it's a start where you have to be real comfortable with beating vastly superior VC forces by killing the vampire leading them. Strategic layer shenanigans like opportunism, ambushes and alliances all probably help too if you need them.

Those warriors are seriously great compared to the shield skeletons, I mean, they can actually cause damage to infantry, anyway.
