Who is that grasping their head in exasperation? I assume an old New Mutants character, but that doesn't seem like an outfit Bobby da Costa would wear, and I don't know who else is really active outside of Cannonball.

Yeah, but that one's bad even for him.

I think his classic costume's pretty decent. Not amazing or anything, but it was always a decent look.

The purple fast forward costume is outright silly bad, though. I'm not normally one to notice or complain about these things but drat.

They could be pince-nez, and clamped on to his nose really hard.

Quicksilver has had some decent looks over the years. This is definitely not one of them.

This one isn't bad, though the leg band could probably go away.

This one I like a lot.

This one was mostly an unnecessary update to his original villain costume, but not bad. (There's another one that's similar but adds black shoulders.)

This is atrocious.

Mostly, I think the busier they make his costume, the worse it gets.

This is definitely my favorite. It doesn't hurt that Alan Davis designed it.

I get your point, but has any (serious) costume ever been improved by becoming busier, design-wise?

I like Wonder Woman's warrior costume (with the skirt thing) a lot. Yeah it's boobplate, but I think it looks better than the swimsuit.

Someone I think in the X-thread mentioned a while back that he'd be coming back in this partial story strewn across several non-X-titles leading up to some return thing? I have no clue which titles, and if they've already started. I'm not sure how casual comic fans who love Wolverine are supposed to actually see any of this.

Edit: I guess we just have to google it: Captain America #697, Mighty Thor #703 and Amazing Spider-Man #794
Okay just found them online, they're just one-pagers with no story at all.

Yeah that's about when I stopped reading Marvel comics. I've recently picked up some stuff I missed over the years but mainly solo stuff. I don't really need to see Wolverine as an Avenger.
