Osakabe-hime has good normal animations, her NP animation is laughably intricate even though the NP effects are lackluster.

One mechanic I don't quite get is star production rate. Does +100% mean that every hit produces a crit star?

As I understand it anyway.

In short, the way star drop rate works is that for each 100% rate you get one guaranteed star per hit, and whatever is left over is your chance for another star on the same hit. So at say 220% drop rate, you're guaranteed two stars per hit, plus a 20% chance at a third star per hit. So a +100% star rate effect isn't necessarily doubling star gen, but it is adding one guaranteed star per hit to that character's attack.

drat, I was getting nervous there for a minute. Finally got my last copy of the CE to drop off of Tamamo, so I can MLB it once the event is over. Does anyone else hate going up against Fox Wife in a stage though? Attacking her and her crying "Stop! Stop! Please!" always feels more than a little domestic abusey to me.

Valentine's is exclusively a day of girls giving chocolates to guys in Japan. Guys giving gifts to girls takes place on White Day. So Valentine's being girl exclusive is just a cultural thing. The real issue is that White Day isn't a full event, just a random gacha where they usually add a couple of new male characters, and then they just rolled the guy gifts into Valentine's the next year anyway. Maybe they underestimated how many girls play the game, or maybe they wanted to do a full white day event but got pressed for time. Iunno.
