We were also supposed to emigrate to Australia, also for apartheid is poo poo reasons but inconveniently my mom died of cancer so I ended up growing up and finishing my education in South Africa.

And when your neighbors, and I am not exaggerating here, get broken into, tied up, and stabbed by screwdrivers and raped until dead (happened more than once, obviously different neighbors because of being dead reasons!), you get to be grateful that that isn't your reality anymore.

I bought 2 BTC in early 2017. I did a few trades between BTC and dollars but in the end effectively I sold it late in the year for about $40k and changed my mind and bought them back a few hours later. I got weak hands, what can I say.
Anyway, I still got that 2 BTC (and no cash). My accountant said because of my trades, I have to pay like 35% income taxes (short term gains) on it with state and federal, so like $15000. If I sell it now for $10k each I'm only gonna end up with $5k left over. He says I owe $15k by April no matter what happens this year to my bitcoins even though it crashed by 50%.

Turns out I'm pretty much banned from my career for 8 years, thought I would be back to making 4 to 5 take home a month now problem .

I just maxed out a Dell account for new laptop 3.5k , 8k credit card in hotels and what not , I have a 10k loan and then finally a 22k car loan which I can afford to pay.

So right now in gonna have to neglect everything , do you think they will give me like 6 months to find a job ? I have a prospect hut they have to wait till I finish court which will take god knows how long

I can also see how you talked yourself into this approach. It’s awkward to ask friends for cash. Your route was less direct. And there are all those heartwarming stories of tiny children with medical needs awash in GoFundMe loot. But I suggest you start over. Get on the phone. Do not mention your hurt feelings at the internet appeal or, for the love of caffeine, suggest they economize to subsidize you. (It’s their money!) Just ask from the heart. I predict happier results. Trucking , had a rollover which is the biggest no no, more so than drugs or killing someone .

I have two companies right now that might take me but one if them s slavery wages which I refuse to support , talking spending all month in the truck and be lucky to take home $800.

The other I might be able to take home $2000 or more but they want the court and fines to be paid.

I'm leaning towards "the poors should not breed" myself, especially in this age of wealth inequality, environmental stress, and technological birth control. After all, I don't want to take sex away from poor people. It's one of the things they can enjoy almost as well as the rich.

I'm also not a fan of this push for government mandated paid family leave. If you can not finance your 12 weeks of FMLA, perhaps that's a clue you should be on birth control until your finances improve.

I would also take it one step further and like to see those on TANF/SNAP benefits on mandatory birth control.

Because I do have some compassion, and a soft spot for children, I would support an increase in the cash value of TANF/SNAP benefits, but I would want that contingent on accountability measures such as mandatory birth control more so than able bodied work requirements or drug testing.

I understand this is a controversial opinion but do not understand why it is so controversial that it is rarely spoken aloud. Is there room for debate on whether and by how much should government and society discourage poor people from conceiving more poor people?
