It's because Batman the electorate is in inner Melbourne which has a high number of Greens voters. The electorate of Melbourne itself went Green, Batman had a Green vote of 45%, and the area it is in went Green in the state election. The Liberals aren't going to bother fielding a candidate, it's going to be a Labor vs. Green contest.

You haven’t heard of “crutch” as a metaphor for something you can lean on that makes you never get better? I mean I know it’s weird and dumb when you think about it but it’s pretty common.

Socialism will cripple everybody, give them crutches, and then congratulate itself for bringing equality. It’s basically Rush’s “The Trees.”

"Autumn month"? August is named after the roman guy. Autumn officially starts on the equinox, which is usually September 20th or so. Which makes October the first month that's even mostly autumn, but few would call October the first month of anything.

So I guess my point is, I don't know what you're saying but whatever it is isn't obvious enough to deserve bold italics.

I'm racist now? The things I don't know.

Anyway I'm not finnish speaking so the syys in syyskuu didn't occur since to me its internally known as september. And still I think by personal experience that summers are usually over in august over here though maybe global warming will help here a bit (unless it fucks over the gulf stream), august is when it starts getting cold and we swedish speakers on the coast have "villaavslutning" (Venetsialaiset).
