I just returned from Mexico City. Found this in a Metro station. Best public transit system I've ever used.

Open palm slammed into google translate:

"The Shadow Pancho Villa
= REVOLUCION =

With the historical battles of Celaya and Zacatecas faithfully reconstructed in the same places where they were carried out with the valuable assistance of more than 5000 veteran members of the glorious national army and with all the material elements that this work demanded thanks to the decisive cooperation of the presidency of the republic and the secretary of war."

The Simpsons was great for most of the decade. Also Twin Peaks and X-Files.

To be fair, that's a lot better than pretending they're 12 as the actors rush headlong through puberty.

The original Cloverfield had a tagline "Some thing has found us". Not the most brilliant thing in the world but it worked well enough. So they're trying to do it again.

I think there was a concept art for the Falcon that shows an attachment that fits in that gap. There might be a toy with that feature too.

in that Danny McBride actually made something where he is playing Brian Dundee? Yes

In that it is an actual movie? Unlikely. The Super Bowl is in 2 weeks and every year companies spend buttloads of money on famous people to make ads. This is following in the grand tradition of that lovely Ferris Bueller car ad sequel and that lovely Vacation car ad sequel.

I'm betting that it's either a car ad or some stupid dot com/silicon valley company's ad.

edit: like, why do you think we've never heard about this before, it has no release date, and no hint of what sort of platform it would be launching on? The answer is either it's an incredibly misguided demo reel (think that Mortal Kombat one from a while back, or the Hellraiser one from a couple years ago) or the more likely answer: Super Bowl Ad.

And you win the biscuit.

I'm assuming with that tagline, and a title including the word paradox is that the Cloverfield monster is somehow time travelling.
