It's just unusually cold at first (even when the bottle is warm), which slowly turns to your mouth and throat burning so badly that you want to throw up. 30 minutes later and I'm still feeling it. It's so strong it is actually hygroscopic. So, if you leave it for a while not completely tightly capped, it will absorb water out of the air.

You could probably use open cans just fine, but of course those are only good for listening to stuff and not so much for blocking out the outside world like you're trying to do on an airplane.

Immediately after he went downstairs with his friends to smoke a joint but only made it about six steps before he passed out cold and his buddies carried him right back in and tossed him on the couch. He pissed himself and every couple of hours would get up for a few minutes and say "dude, what happened" and then he was out again. Nah I've seen something like this. I watched a guy at a pool party chug a fifth of wild turkey like it was iced tea. He made it around to the side of the pool and fell directly onto his face. Didn't try to catch himself or anything. First thing that came out from under his face was blood, then wild turkey vomit. Amazing times.

My sister made a sailboat out of napkins and wooden chopsticks since my brother loves boats. It was a bit close to the lotus thing and when it opened up one of the candles then lit the paper boat on fire. It was rather amazing, and also fortunate that it didn't set off the suppression system.

Those In other news: quote:Apple’s HomePod is a great sounding but ideologically flawed speaker, but it turns out there’s another major problem with the smart speaker aside from its lack of support for Spotify: apparently the silicone base of the HomePod can damage wooden furniture, with multiple outlets (including The Wirecutter and Pocket Lint) reporting that leaving the speaker on top of wooden surfaces can cause a white ring to form.

What the hell is it doing? Blasting the wood with a sonic weapon? Edit: Apparently it's a chemical reaction between the silicone base and the wood's surface treatment.

That's pretty loving nuts because properly cured silicone is one of the most inert compounds we know how to make. It doesn't stick to anything, doesn't react with anything, doesn't absorb water, doesn't melt. Medical appliances are made of it. You can eat it with no effects other than weird poops. I wonder how they hosed that one up.
