Untrustable posted:Nah I've seen something like this. I watched a guy at a pool party chug a fifth of wild turkey like it was iced tea. He made it around to the side of the pool and fell directly onto his face. Didn't try to catch himself or anything. First thing that came out from under his face was blood, then wild turkey vomit. Amazing times. In my 20s I was dared to chug a bottle of whiskey to the label, which I thought was lame so chugged the the bottom of the label, then not happy with the lack of applause, chugged the vodka next to it the same way. I was fine for maybe 10 minutes. Then starts a big STDH.txt story that actually did.

The rest of the night was split between him throwing up, me trying to convince the rest of the party we didn't need to call 911, and him drunkenly trying to propose to his girlfriend. They actually did get married, but not because of or even remotely after that.

You can't natively if you're on Android. It's stupid. Managr for Spotify is the app you want. It's marginally inconvenient to switch between the 2 apps, but it works.

Reminds me of a bug on the MMORPG Ultima Online. If you spoke certain Chinese characters repeatedly, (ones that came up as [][][][][][] etc) most people in hearing distance would crash to desktop. Which would leave them completely vulnerable

SpacePig posted:How does this keep on happening? How does Apple in particular keep on doing this? Well, they did recently have an issue with admin access that got fixed after 4th time somebody complained that it still doesn't work as expected (2 times when putting empty string gave you access, 1 time when clicking to change something requiring access didn't actually prompt for admin password, 1 time when putting empty string in that prompt gave you access). I think people aren't really interested in such screwups (or at least - are willing to forgive Apple quite easily for some reason) I'm more worried about this: https://krausefx.com/blog/mac-privacy-sandboxed-mac-apps-can-take-screenshots (apparently any app can make a screenshot of your screen at any point)

My office uses macs for some reason, and the tech guy who comes around to fix poo poo is always going on about how much more apple values privacy and PC's are all filled with viruses and spyware. Back when he was volunteering for Ron Paul in the US he learned to only use apple products since they have the best privacy track record.
