EDIT - Since I deleted my post anyway, been meaning to mention this: Just like Poe's Law, there should be a similar law for bootlegs that "From only an image, it is impossible to tell whether something of a certain (lack of) quality is an actual bootleg or an ironic art piece mimicking a bootleg". Batman and Spider-Man have Captain Action masks cast as heads. Robins head looks like a Mego I have no idea where Superman’s is from but has seen some poo poo Batman, Robin and Superman’s costumes look to be ripped off from Mego, and Spider-Man’s from Captain Action. Batman and Robins belts are from Captain action. Body’s all look to be blow molded and have limited articulation. Think hollow Ken doll. The weird thing is that Captain Action was a 12 inch figure and Mego was 6inch so they had to do some work to shrink the heads down. It isn’t uncommon for factories to have left over items and throw them on whatever else they had laying around to sell them. So to be clear, a "visual novel" is basically a choose your own adventure but most of the narrative is delivered in illustration?

Just to say, it's worth downloading doki doki literature club on steam, it's free and absolutely fantastic for its three hour run. It's definitely not what you think it is at first glance, and maybe not even what you think it is when you think you've figured it out. Great experience. Also it's got a 97% positive rating on steam with over 80,000 reviews, which is almost unheard of. The buff natsuki thing is such a weird, but funny meme.
