It's really funny when some people insist that without different starting types of FTL they wouldn't have bought the cool and good 4X space game from paradox. Like sure, I'll go ahead and believe that as much as I believe the "boycott CoD until dedicated servers!" steam group.Aethernet posted:Stellaris 2.0: The Assassination Of Warp Drive By The Coward Martin Anward lmao yes

So remember when I had a meltdown about missing the sale? Paradox have the exact same sale on Paradox Plaza right now. So remember that Paradox are the best developers there are, and don't be like me and act like a giant idiot and big crybaby. I applaud all of you who loled about my post. So head over there if you are still missing some Stellaris DLC.

I'm torn on if I want plant people dlc or not. The humanoid one looks kinda bad though.

So have we seen all the colossus ship models yet? This is important to me.

I agree about the humanoid pack. I wouldn't even consider it if not for the additional ship models, which do look nice.

I've never played as a humanoid and I likely never will, but I got the DLC and added some space dwarves and space orcs to my list of pre-generated empires. Plus, ship models are neat.

Welp ordered at the Paradox store, so now just to wait for the patch and the steam code....of course I have stuff to do so I probably won’t get to play it for half of the day.

Not that I’m going to, but can you make steam defer a major patch like this? I’ve never actually tried.

You can set the game to only update when you attempt to launch it, and maybe pre-emptively roll back to 1.9 before you launch it the first time post-2.0. Right-click Stellaris -> Properties in your Steam library to do both of these things.
