It’s a privilege to witness the death of the Seahawks. I wish I had saved that post from the guy who was sad about not having blue Fridays at the office anymore.

The only people upset by Bennett were the likes of my old, racist grandfather. I was upset at his constant starting poo poo when the hawks were losing and especially when he was being faced with victory formation. Back in MY day people took a loss with dignity!

Yeah, that was it. All good things must come to an end. I will never have any ill will toward this group, it gave me the first championship I've ever experienced and has been fun as hell to boot. Maybe it should have won some more, but that matters a whole lot less to me than the Lombardi and the memories. In any case, we still have Russ, so we'll still be drat good. Excited to see where we go in the future, it was clearly time for some changes.

I think 2015 and 2016 would have turned out better though.

Fair enough, Hue Jackson is even a shittier head coach than I imagined and unlike most Raider fans, I never liked the dude as an HC. Although it is going to work really well for the Browns. Six picks in the first three rounds in a crazy deep QB/RB draft is hard to blow, even for the Browns. ~*Bold prediction*~ Cleveland will be better this year!

Since we are doing bold predictions: I can’t wait for the Rams to look like a Super Bowl contender (with the help of the NFL intervening in the officiating to fix a few games for the sake of succeeding in LA) and then go one and done in the playoffs again. Or they’ll win the Super Bowl, regress, and move to St. Louis in a decade and a half.

Maybe. I know the Rams want to keep Watkins, or so they say, but once he hits the FA market his price is going to go way up due to the minimal amount of talent of WR's in FA, and the draft being weak in WR's this year. I know that the Rams brought in Washington Huskies WR Dante Pettis (Austin Pettis's cousin) for a visit today, but who know what that means. A secondary of Larmarcus Joyner, John Johnson, Marcus Peters, and Aqib Talib, and Nickell Robey-Coleman/Kayvon Webster (if he comes back from injury) is CRAZY. This Sean McVay character is unbelievable.

I'm going to miss Ogletree, but he didn't fit MLB in the 3-4 at all and I don't think he would be good on the Strongside slot either, at least he gets a chance to play his natural position in New York. Plus the fact that linebackers took up 21% of the Rams cap spending when this off-season started with one position unfilled was kind of nutty. Last season was the reform of the off-season, this off-season is all Wade Phillips apparently

I think we'll be fine if we stop loving around and grab a real RB, don't psyche him out letting 4 other people flirt with his job and/or stop trying to play budget games with the offensive line. If Russ stays Russ and gets even a little bit of the pressure of last season taken off him via one method or another he'll do his thing and we'll still be contenders in a stronger division. otoh it's entirely possible they don't do any of those things, all these changes at once amount to some chaos, Russ keeps eating pass rushes and we stink. Worst places I'd want Sherman to land: 1. Patriots 2. Rams 3. 49ers (though kind of funny at the same time) 4. Packers

I wish him well wherever he lands but if he runs into a combo of the ACL slowing him down and having something significantly worse than the Kam/Doug/Bobby cloud of doom supporting him then idk. I suspect he's a cerebral enough player that he's never going to be average or bad as long as he's healthy enough to play but I don't know if he's ever going to be a "don't throw to that side unless you're dumb as hell" guy again.
