Yeah, I was wrong about foles--he played better than anyone expected. But he's not so great that fans in here don't want to trade him? Pederson is a good coach, and firing him would have been an incredibly stupid move even if the Eagles had lost to the Falcons. I think the Eagles save around $4 million if they cut him (salary - dead money hit). The lack of a deal in the past may have been from his subpar play and the fact that the Eagles kind of needed him as their #3 so their asking price was probably higher than his value. But this past season he played better and the Eagles have now signed Corey Nelson who could probably fill that #3 role, so it may be easier to find a trade partner. I think he gets moved soon, like in the next week or two.
