BajaHAHAHA.

Did some maths, and assuming that setup weighs between 1300kg to 1500kg and that it generates it's maximum rated thrust of 12kN instantly, it'll accelerate at between 8 and 9 m/s^2.

So between 29km/hr*s to 32 km/hr*s.

0-100km/hr times of 3.47s to 3s

1/4 mile times of 7-6.7 seconds assuming constant acceleration.

All of this is back of the envelope, ignoring all the fun things that make physics complicated, spherical cow in a vacuum and all that.

That cage around the driver's seat seems unsafe. Even with a helmet on you're going to be banging against it pretty hard.

I like the concept of turbo 6.75 Roller hot rod. I didn't like how much he unnecessarily hacked it up to do it, especially the dash/interior. Definitely too try-hard on the "zero fucks" thing, agreed.

Ran across a very tasteful low rider (he claimed it was dropped 12 inches), with a real OG driving it (dude seriously looked like a 55 year old Cheech Marin, super nice guy when I talked to him).

1951 Chevy Deluxe, dropped on springs instead of bags, original I6 engine, said all the pinstriping was freehand. No speed, but all of the class. Certainly not perfect, but in beautiful shape for something driven regularly.

More pics here.

Whoa! A car guy buddy of mine pointed me to Trackspec when I was looking for a PPI on my 987 because he grew up buddies with John and he'd just opened up his shop. Took it over, shot the poo poo etc. Took a couple pics of a race car (some evo)

Seeing these at all is pretty rare in my neck of the woods, but seeing one 100% unmolested and not 95% oxidized? loving mythical.

I was gonna chat the owner up (I could pick him out instantly, only one type of person owns one of these and they all dress like they're going deer hunting) but he was at the counter bitching at the restaurant manager about why the flagpole out front didn't have a US flag mounted.

I noped out of that one and watched him drive off into the afternoon sun.
