This came up late last season or earlier in the off season. They were discussing experimenting with things like the starting grid setup by using sims and actually seeing whether it's a good or bad idea rather than doing a knee jerk 'let's fix f1 with my latest idea'. We got so used to Bernie's insanity that any time someone suggests an idea we expect it's going to be implemented immediately with no thought or scrutiny.

All loving non 2 wheel motor racing uses a 2 car grid row. (gently caress Indy) I can see it now, first row has average start, 2nd row has great start - no one can pass because there's 4 slow cars in front. Cue wrecks into turn one.
