Speaking of smite, now that it's been nerfed is 'eadbanger any good? Seems like it could be amusing to have a tellyport escort + 'eadbanger weirdboy combo jump around and snipe characters.

depends on what you want it to do, I like drill and grav bombard since the drill lets it punch things to get wounds back and the bombard is the best generalist gun in the game

Dual butcher cannon arrays is kinda disgusting to fight, between that and the dual hellflamers its hard to deal with it at anything less that 36".

All prepared for Adepticon. I am sure I will forget SOMETHING be it, floss, or whatever. That being said here are the final pictures of what I am taking. I was surprised to find that about 90% of what I am taking I had painted within the last year. I'll try to type up a huge review post this coming Monday, so you guys can have all the juicey details, and hopefully I won't drink to much.

Went with the white for the fabric, layer of grey-green from Vallejo. Needs a wash and then some spatter. Tentacle's purple was made from 1:1 V Turqoise and V Red with white added for each layer of highlights. Hustlin Floh posted:I really like this scheme. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a bone-style color for the fabric. It's not flashy, but pretty neutral and the rest of the armor/flesh are flashy enough. Thanqol posted:Fabrics:

Basically this Forums Terrorist posted:depends on what you want it to do, I like drill and grav bombard since the drill lets it punch things to get wounds back and the bombard is the best generalist gun in the game I use the grav-flux bombard and the butcher cannon array. The Leviathan is a slow bastard, and usually a priority target, so bring something like a land raider or something equally beefy to distract from him. Getting it in close for melee is difficult. If you go dual grav-flux, you can use it like a mortar and pretty much guarantee it's going to wipe most vehicles off the board in one round of shooting, and dual butcher cannons will rip through hoards of troops with the -LD. At a tournament, I would go dual butcher cannons or grav-flux. Give it a specific purpose, be it troop removal or vehicle removal depending on how the rest of your list is set up.

For the life of me I can't remember why I had to cut of their pistols and add bolters...like I have no idea what happened to their normal boltgun arms. On the topic of Leviathans they are definitely nasty, and tougher than a Land Raider for reduced price. The reason they become so gross with Ultramarines is thanks to their chapter tactics. For this reason a melee weapon might be worth your effort if you aren't running Ultras.

A single missile pod is basically pointless, and you can put on something that gets more out of ATS. The obvious answer is another burst cannon for cost, or a cyclic ion blaster for high strength higher rate of fire.

Here’s a crosspost from the highly toxic 30k thread, because I worked really hard on it (the crosspost, not the thread). Basically, I finished painting 3,000 points of Sons of Horus yaaay Lord Agapito, ‘The Catulan,’ Lodge Master This model was converted from Akron Dragongaze. Bulbasaur donated an old pewter Iron Warriors head, and Safety Factor gave me the pistol because I’d run out. Axe is modified version of MkIII upgrade kit weapon. left to right: Chieftain/Praevian/Delegatus Solon Abbas; Sergeant Bias Escher of the Cannibals; Veteran Sergeant Silas of Squad Carduus, Breacher Sergeant Chilon of Squad Passerine. Solon Abbas, one of my favorite models in the whole army. Bias Escher He doesn’t actually lead the Cannibals, since they’re all such psychotic individualistic evil bastards that they can’t really be led, but he does their admin and beats the poo poo of of the worst troublemakers. Silas, who still needs water effects. Chilon, another one of my favorites; he’s the very first SoH character I finished. The unlikeliest of BFFs: on the left, Sergeant Harod, called ‘Unbroken’ and ‘Edge of Tarsus,’ and Expeditionary Navigator Henrique Belisarius. Apothecary Boscoe and Vexilliary Peyton, both old Terrans. The Cannibals, my squad fillers slash Victory Is Vengeance irregulars. They’re all Isstvan veterans who have completely lost their ability to work as part of a cohesive unit. They’re frequently sent on the most dangerous insertion missions, and nobody really gives a poo poo whether a Cannibal lives or dies (including the other Cannibals, generally).

Random dumb question from the morale discussion earlier: If you stack enough morale penalties on Celestine, and killed both geminae could you instakill her, since they form a unit and she has to take a test, right? e: Addendum: can she resurrect from that, since she is directly removed from play rather than "loses her last wound?"
