Can someone good at photoshop take that famous picture of Stalin on the bridge where they kept editing out people around him and make the Channel Awesome version? It's what I think of every time I see the website changes.

Secrets and lies! - MikeJ didn't know that other people had been asked to do videos for Uncanny Valley and TURNED IT DOWN. He was a bit hurt when he learned that. Also he lost money on the shoot, because of course CA didn't pay anyone anything - The best/worst-- he was at a con with another "big name producer" on the channel, I DOn't Understand why he isn't naminG them-- a fan came up and gave that person a drawing they did (some fan art). Once the fan left, the producer just chucked it into the trash then and there. Not even looking over shoulder to see if the fan was still watching or not. Complete lack of kindness or empathy.

There's one of those "CA Q&A" panel videos out there from a few years ago, a bunch of producers, most of the questions for Doog. It kinda stood out for me, even to this day. The correct way of handling a mic-hog (even the most well intentioned ones) is to basically say "Thank you for the question, I want to get to the next person before we're out of time" or something simliar. Instead, and this still shocks me, Doug, in just snaps, and says shoots back "I'll review whatever the gently caress I want. Next question." .... like, dude, I get people at cons get over enthusiastic, and you get the requests all the time, and sometimes you need to handle people with social or mental issues-- but loving hell, that is not how you do it. You probably just shattered some poor guy's world with one sentence. loving hell.

I still remember seeing Doug’s video on how he quit his day job by painting “I Quit” on his chest, going shirtless, and very awkwardly and slowly dancing his way out of the entire building holding a boom box and wondered what kind of beast would choose to quit his job in this way; it’s not even the funny kind of way to burn a professional bridge and it seemed like no staff was even really around.
