Hello friends I am in Bundaberg QLD and I am here to introduce you to The Hector Show. A show where a giant lump of coal educates children about how to get a good night's sleep or how to look both ways before you cross the street. It airs on Channel 7 Wide Bay Not a parody.

I was the weird kid in school. When everyone was talking about Pokemon I was a fan of Fossil Rancher. Everyone liked Pikachu but when I caught a glimpse of the show I was confused as to why Koffing wasn't the main character.

Koffing was in every episode though!

Periphery posted:Wouldn't replacing a bunch of volunteers in the bush with paid staff create more jobs though? Replacing volunteers with an equal number of professionals is always going to cost you more. Even if you can do the same with less numbers by going the professional route it's still less jobs and that's all that matters politically.

Why is Koffing evil? He could provide us energy to power up Townsville! Really Ash is just some weird leftie with his renewable Pikachu

DancingShade posted:Replacing volunteers with an equal number of professionals is always going to cost you more. I think we have very different understandings of what constitutes a job. Volunteer positions are definitely not given the same weight politically as paid jobs. Like if you said to a country town that you are going to give them 20 full time jobs, but it'll cost them 50 unpaid volunteer positions I don't see how that isn't a politicians wet dream. Of course this is all pie-in-the-sky stuff because politicians are too cheap pay for things as trivial as cutting people from cars and fighting fires.

The thing that really upsets me the most about this political thread... I mean the thing that I REALLY can't comprehend at all... is the fact that anybody has any idea what the gently caress is happening on television, let alone FREE TO AIR television. If you're going to watch garbage, at least get yourself a subscription to Sky News.

POLICE examined more than three million images found in the possession of Michael Owen Mitchell in a raid of his Bundaberg home, with officers seizing computer equipment. A portion of the images were deemed child pornography and led to 42-year-old Mitchell being charged with child exploitation offences. Some child images were computer animation - Japanese anime.
