I liked Totoro's Hellboy movies, but I don't mind seeing a different take on them, perhaps closer to the comics. Plus David Harbour is likeable and Milla Jovovich is playing a vampire (goddess?) witch lady so, cool.

Yeah, Del Toro's movies were super charming and cool (though wildly uneven) and I would have liked for him to have a chance to finish his trilogy.... BUT. They're not much like the comics at all and don't really hit on what I love about the comics. So I'm pumped.

My ideal Hellboy sequel would still have Perlman as Hellboy and Del Toro doing the effects but letting someone capable of making a story more interesting than "Emo Kung Fu Elf smolders with generic rage, are you a bad enough dude to run through all these whimsical setpieces to stop him" do the script and directing. Hopefully the new movie will at least give us the latter.

That poster is suggesting to me that NASA was run by hippies at one point, and this is gonna be like Woodstock: The Movie but with rocket ships. Don't let me know that I'm wrong.

Despite the silly name, it's a legit, long-running documentary festival.
