The first thing I thought of was Cavemen, a spin off from the Geico Caveman commercials...but holy poo poo it got 13 episodes, only one of which aired in my region I guess...I thought the pilot episode killed it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavemen_(TV_series)
