It had great atmospheric music, and a central mystery, and was largely dialogue driven. It was meant to be slow. But with Divers, if you described any episode in one or two sentences it wouldn't sound like a slow moving show. It's only when you watch it and see how little chemistry the characters have, and then put the episodes together and see how little progress they've made towards anything, that it's slowness becomes obvious. It also had a surprisingly high percentage of female voters, even beating out SEED.) Top suits were the Nu, the Zeta, Strike Freedom, Wing Gundam Zero, and the Freedom proper. The poor original Gundam only got to show its head at spot ten, below the F91. As for characters, the top two were, naturally, Char and Amuro. But Kira was kicked down to four by Orga Itsuka, and Graham Aker scored more votes than Setsuna. Almost makes up for Gato being in the top ten. Almost.

You know, for all that Try loving sucked, at least we got the Tryon out of it, which showed someone clearly gave some kind of a drat about the show they were working on. Meanwhile, Build Divers introduces a kung-fu fighting NPC who heads a Shaolin monastery and instead of giving him some kind of cool kung-fu move as his ~special ultimate attack~, he gets an incredibly generic and boring fireball.

That being said, there are some curveballs that take some Japanese to divine/draw an accurate inference (for example, Hyaku Shiki's name is entirely in Japanese, and parts of the GP03 are also in Japanese. But if you know Gundam, that's not difficult to figure out). I'll come back periodically to add more for fun. Most of this list is good enough that I am willing to give it a pass. Number 1 is absolutely right though, even if it's not my favorite.
