See, right now people are pre-ordering items that will be available in game. The value is not going to go _up_ because there's no real scarcity and people are generally frugal, so why buy in now? Fear of missing out? Why?; it's all coming or not. If it does, I buy whatever I want in the released game. Now, if there was damned content, and you could actually ascend the curve to get a leg up on day one, then it might be viable to rush - Archeage was maggoty with property speculators - but as this all stands at the moment, we can play the sodding long game. Does anyone have stats on how this sale is doing vs. the last major "jpeg" sale. Be interesting to see if there has been a significant drop off. Also, wondering if one of the reasons they have become so harsh towards the old money is that in they have no way of filtering a new money buy vs. a melt-n-cco. Would go a long way in explaining the $185million generated if a lot of that was people melting and moving up to new models with credit. Also explain why they are hurting even with a supposed 185 mill.

Why does CIG need new money? "They had to expand the scope of the game because we gave them too much money." Why do you think that, if you give them more money, they won't expand the scope of the game again? "We're giving them money explicitly for these pieces that they've already built." What about the pieces you already gave them money for, that they haven't delivered? There is a gap here. If you want to make Citizens go insane, just keep asking them to cover it.
