Geno honestly isn't terrible, but that was all McAdoo. He's been in bad situations and I think he's fine as a backup.

They had no plans of Geno replacing Eli, yet they said Eli was being benched to see what they had. So, why not start the qb you drafted in Webb when Eli was benched. Last year was a poo poo show and I am glad McAdoo and Reese are gone.

If you ranked Eli and Dak's combined 16 seasons by rating, Dak's two seasons would rank #1 and #7.

In other words, Eli has 9 seasons with a lower QB rating than Dak's worst season.

No, he will get zero rings.

But Romo never won any rings and nobody seriously thinks that Eli Manning was a better QB.

Eli's been spoiled with WRs over the years. Plaxico Burress is and always will be an underrated WR. ODB is obviously great and he's also had great supporting WRs in Amani Toomer or Victor Cruz. Giants defenses have almost always been better than the Cowboys, including the DeMarcus Ware days. That's where I think it ends though.

Eli had a line for about 4 years between 2007 to about 2011ish. They started sucking around the playoffs and then went completely downhill. He's also never had a legitimate LT as everyone has either sucked or are converted LGs. The best running back we had during Eli's time could arguably be Brandon Jacobs. TEs have also been a travesty since Kevin Boss of all people. Obviously Witten takes the edge on that, although cases could be made that rookie Evan Engram brought more to the table than retiring Witten even though that comes down to preference. Eli's offensive pieces just have always seemed mediocre.

Oh but if you think Dak is even close to being as good as Eli you an idiot and should watch games.

It's a little Eagles heavy, but you know, they did WIN THE SUPER BOWL.

also, lol:

quote:

• LT Trent Williams, Redskins: If you prefer Tyron Smith or Jason Peters here, I wouldn't argue much, as the NFC East has the best group of left tackles in the NFL, by far. The only sure thing here is that the Giants have the clear-cut No. 4 guy in Nate Solder, who is also the highest paid offensive lineman in the NFL.

Let's clarify though in that Plax was a TD and yardage machine, but hurt his completion rate with all of his drops. Throughout most of his career, Eli has been in an offense that emphasizes the deep ball, and hence low percentage throws. And the supporting cast was loving horrible last year.

In conclusion, Eli forever.
