Only 36% reporting but De Leon is neck and neck for second place, fingers crossed. Villaraigosa is getting slaughtered by Newsom and Cox though, he'd need a miracle to make second.

I think early results aren't very useful because they're not representative, guys. Presumably it's the districts with the fastest electronic vote tallys and/or the ones with the fewest votes to tally. And there's a LOT of absentee ballots these days, right? Wait till we're at like 70%+ before declaring doom/victory

At some point we need to have the elected officials actually do their job (good OR bad) and super majorities are a bad way to govern. Looks like Measure C is going to comfortably defeat Measure B, which is fantastic because it means a bunch of out-of-town rich people pissed their money down the drain for nothing. Sucks that Measure C isn't really that much better of a development plan, but take what you can get I suppose.
