Interesting that they're filming it now, and not after next week. I haven't looked, and I'd prefer it if we keep it under spoiler bars. It's officially this time in the season!  Hopefully I can make it to the end unspoiled, as I said in the OP I was literally hyperventilating during Shea v Sasha not knowing what would happen.

As a noob to RPDR this is my first time watching a season live and does the producer/Ru interference always feel this blatant? Eureka's continued existence on this gay earth is baffling aside from a producer decision to have the redemption story. Aquaria also definitely felt like she's been pushed by the show to inevitably be in the finals. Sure she absolutely consistently turns out a look but she's not that impressive otherwise aside from Snatch Game. Hell she only became a human being after she ran out of prepared bitchy one liners and started running into the limits of her life experience. Like yeah if the producers or Ru think that Aquaria is gonna be huge in drag based on her potential that's fine but I'd rather she come back later as an All Star (lol if they even continue it after Season 3 though) after she has literally matured but out of this top 4 I can't see any possibility aside from her winning. I mean Kameron is by far my favourite this season because she's the cutest underdog muscle queen ever and she got away with cosplaying Jaina/Crystal Maiden on TV which is amazing but the show really can't wait to get rid of her.

I think most long-term fans have adjusted their expectations to accept that at times the show will almost randomly come down incredibly hard on a contestant to get them out of the picture while letting some chosen few skate by or not giving props where they’re due (some seasons it’s more blatant than others). Watching it more as entertainment/a fun weekly display of high faggotry than a truly fair competition makes things easier.

This has always been pretty blatant, It's obvious in the editing, and then there have always been accusations from other queens that certain chosen few get preferential treatment. My theory for a long time has been that Ru always has had an idea of who she wants to win before the season even starts. At least Aquaria and Eureka both did very well this season. We've had worse performing queens dragged to top 4 before/pushed by the producers. Also worth noting they sometimes change their plans. Season 4, for instance, I've no doubt in my mind Ru and the producers wanted Chad to win. Then Sharon surprised them. Or even this season, I bet they wanted Cracker in the top but she bombed so hard.
