Cato Bekkevold is leaving Enslaved.  http://www.metalsucks.net/2018/06/20/drummer-cato-bekkevold-quits-enslaved/ Glad I got to see them a few times with him. Apparently the new drummer is a guy who had been filling in for him on tour when his daughter was born, though I don't know if that's long-term or not. I'm curious what they'll sound like on their next album considering they've changed 2 members within 2 years. Though I guess as long as it's Ivar/Grutle at the helm, the songwriting won't be changing hands.

Reporting in from Hellfest, France. Probably the pretiest festival I've ever been, with the loudest and best sounding stages I've experienced. French metalheads barely mosh or even headbang much though, they're weirdly calm in general. Best show for today; Nordjevel.
