Looking at their projects page, it's clearly meant more for public displays and not so much in-home art (wouldn't be anywhere near the most complex privately owned piece I've seen, though).

They can distort the image to account for projecting onto slopes

It can then be used as the media player connected to the projector and use their software to create the video that will lay on the area. They also have an After Effects plugin so you can create a video file and then use any media player to play the file. The device and software costs $800 or you can get the suggested projector with it for like $1500. The mapping device can be used with any projector though (even short throw projectors). Up until Infocomm this year I have only ever hear of projection mapping being done for $10k+ so this is pretty cool for SMB markets or art projects.
