I want to learn a speedgame. I've previously tried Super Mario World, Super Star Wars, and Dark Souls, but never had much success sticking with any of them to actually learn a route. I was most successful in SSW, but my times weren't amazing. I quit running DS because of BKH rng.

Does anyone have recommendations for a fun, relatively easy to learn (like, easy-medium level, not something that is a joke but i'd prefer not to have to learn a ton of tricks) game to try? I've got about a month and a half before the next WoW expansion drops, so something I can learn and refine in that time.

Thanks in advance :shobon:

The Disney Afternoon collection even has a speedrun mode that tracks the times. I think the Duck Tales games are better for learning a speedrun since they're mostly about playing well with one or two clever tricks as well.

Just one more thing!
Speaking of I used to run Ducktales Remastered and that's a really fun run to do. There are a couple cool tricks that aren't too hard to learn and the rest of the game is just solid gameplay and some of it looks and feels pretty cool to execute.

I should really dust that off sometime and give it another go.
