I remember as a child in the UK in the '80s asking a distant relative who worked in TV whether Savile was really as creepy as everyone said he was. She said that women knew never to go near his trailer alone. Turns out the truth was worse than she knew. The establishment thought he was just a regular Bill Cosby-esque rapist and menace to women. They were OK with that, and it enabled him to cover up the real horror of what he did.

The top threads are about Trump talking poo poo about the Red Hen and then various tweets about immigration. When you predict so many outrageous things in such a vague and open ended way it'd be more improbable you wouldn't get kinda-sorta vaguely right once in a while. Though as you zoom in on the specifics of what they said back then it becomes increasingly less correct. Kinda like how so many people pointed to things they said showing how they "predicted" the 2008 economic crisis yet for some reason only a dozen or so guys actually bought credit default swaps or similar instruments to take a position to short the market before it became very obvious to everyone something was wrong.
