it’s very possible (and good) to talk poo poo about the bad parts US military/diplomacy policy without just straight making GBS threads on European nations who’ve decided to work together on collective defense agreements and accusing them of being rubes/puppets of the US. When talking with members from the Baltic states’ militaries they frequently expressed frustration at being asked by Americans whether they agreed with the most hawkish US hawks or preferred or feared the dovish US stance of not getting into a war over the Baltic’s, as if US political infighting/debate was their primary concern.
