Yea it's like, 80% cops 20% gamers there, if it wasn't a known fact that our cops will happily kick the door in and run into a house guns blazing because one person said they think they hear something bad it wouldn't be a thing to begin with.

PUA poo poo has been around since forever though under different names and poo poo. i mean listen to a ton of dollop episodes and you will see. and matt thinks everything in entertainment is reactionary including actual art. he makes some good points about people caring to much about the poo poo and such but some of his points come off as being a kinda of a old man who doesn't understand poo poo and is mad that the world hasnt become just in his life time.

Go to a live event for this stuff in NYC and you'll see a crowd almost identical to a SV startup or Finance office (but with more women and POC). By that standard the Chapos are way above the norm in donating to good causes and supporting community health. They don't talk about it publicly because it's not relevant to the content of the show

As far as I know Will was the only one with anything that could be described as an actual career prior to the show. The rest were in casual employment, freelance writers, or straight up unemployed.

Troy Queef posted:please refer to my previous post and tell me where I'm wrong sex work gets driven underground by any sort of regulation, because regulating the sex industry has never, in the course of human history, been done in a sane and consistent manner. the Stormy Daniels arrest is a great example of how regulation is used. driving the industry underground leads to theft, rape, violence, ect. and the victims have no legal recourse. your stance is indirectly, and perhaps unintentionally, saying that violence + exploitation should be a consequence of choosing to work in the sex industry. the people who share that stance with you are the religious right, sexist men, and various flavors of -ERF's. Unlike you these people all know that the laws do nothing except punish sinful women. Those are the people you're allying yourself with here.
