On the plus side, the Godzilla trailer appears to have a bunch of different monsters, looks like it'll have some classic disaster movie stuff, and has Charles Dance saying "Long live the king." On the minus side, the Godzilla trailer has the female main character saying "I'm sorry" twice because obviously the main character has to apologize for everything they do. Meh. On the plus side ...  It really does look nice.

I am sickened by the fact that no one in the games industry seems to be working on a "giant monster destroy the city" type game at the moment. we NEED a spiritual successor to War of the Monsters or Rampage. A friend of mine threw a kaiju party for her birthday a few weeks ago. Basically she and some friends spent a few days turning her house into a mini cityscape and then everyone who came to the party had to dress as a kaiju and at the appropriate time they wrecked the joint. It looked like a hell of a lot of fun from the pictures and made me really wish I still lived in Austin so I could have gone.
